iCube
A handy iPhone app so you always have a cube in your pocket. The cube is actually a lot more responsive than it seems. The ineffectiveness of my moves is because I'm doing it with the phone's back facing me.

Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium
Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium is the best Rubik's brand cube out of the box.
In this video I show it in the box, then immediately out of the box (no lube), then how it operates after some Jig-a-loo, and then after it's been broken in for a while.
In order:
Not even out of box
Just out of box
Just out of box + lube
3 months old + lube
All are Mr. Magorium's cubes from Amazon.com for about $8

Solving the Middle Layer
When you form the T, the color of the bottom T piece should inform you which algorithm to perform.
If the bottom piece of the T needs to fill the edge on the right, you do the 'right' alg. If it needs to fill the one on the left, you do the 'left' alg.
i.e. - A blue T with an orange piece on the bottom, you perform the "right" alg. If it is red on the bottom, you perform the "left" alg.
(with cross on top)
LEFT ALG - D L D' L' D' F' D F
RIGHT ALG - D' R' D R D F D' F'
This is how I was taught to recognize this step of LBL.
Sorry for the horrible images. Phone pictures.
